Dr Ben Sinclair wanted a 3 minute video to promote his new medical business 'The Optimse Clinic'.
Rather than have a cliché, formal testimonial video Ben had seen my 'Running the 3 Yorkshire Peaks' video and wanted his video to have some similar energy.
The four of us involved in the filming had a great afternoon and Ben's well pleased with the final result. More Optimise Clinic testimonial videos coming soon. Watch this space!

Even though I've not updated the news in almost 2 months quite a lot has been happening so here's a quick summary.

I've made 3 websites, 1 of which is Karachi and 2 of which are almost ready to go live.

I've redone this website! I wasn't liking the old layout for a while; far too dark and squashed. So this is the new brighter, fresher, more roomy layout, complete with a cheesy picture of me grinning like a fool.

In the last 6 weeks I've run the Yorkshire 3 Peaks twice. My record currently stands at 5 hours 50 minutes. Not bad for a self-sufficient, 26+ mile run up and down three steep mountains if I do say so myself!

I've got some nice little video projects coming up which is great because I really want to do more video work. Not only to justify the price I paid for my Sony V1E but also because I really enjoy filming and editing!

I'm planning some work in collaboration with a relatively new magazine that's started up in York called Live&Love York. It already has an estimated readership of about 30,000 so it's definitely going places!

Summer's coming and summer is the BEST!

So there you go. Plenty to look forward to :)

Karachi Restaurant Website Completed
Want some quality Indian and Pakistani cusine in York? Well get yourself down to Karachi Restaurant then!
I can reccommend them first hand as since I made their website they insist on feeding me full meals every time I drop by. Awesome food!
I've just finished the new YorkThaiBoxing.com website. Just like TJMudd.com, this was a website that already existed but was seriously neglected and was therefore being counter-productive.
I started from scratch and built the whole site from the ground up. With crystal clear navigation and all the most important information being readily available on the homepage as soon as you arrive on the site there can be no confusion for a visitor as to where and when the next class is and what to expect at it.
I finished the last of the 10 promo/product videos that I've been making for ThaiBoxingStore.co.uk. The owner absolutely loves them and so do a lot of the people who have sent him feedback after he put them on his Facebook profile to show everyone!
I've been told to expect more work from TBS everytime they get new products shipped in. Hoorah!
The guys who have started the new retail business 'Ultimate Trim Supplements' came to me on reccommendation from a past customer of mine. They wanted a simple eCommerce site from which to sell their products but weren't too happy by the prices they'd been quoted from several web design companies in Leeds (over £6000!)
For a quarter of that price I have created for them a website which does everything they want it to, keeping the browsing and ordering process all nice and simple. I did originally code a payment system onto the site but I've removed it for now because UTS were recommended by the bank to start off with only taking telephone orders before moving on to online payments.
When they need the payment system installing I will do that for them.
I've finished the Mudd & Co website which I am happy to say looks approximately 231 times better than it did before I started.
Tim, the boss, is very pleased with the site and is hiring me to be in charge of all things web-tech, including ensuring that Mudd & Co is making full use of various property portals of which it is paying good money to be a part.
I found some footage from last summer when my friend Mark and I went pottering around town in the sunshine to mess about with our cameras (I'd pretty only just taken my V1E out the box).
And what better thing to do when you find some old footage with no real purpose than edit it together over some liquid drum n bass?
