In August '08 I spent just over 3 weeks in India shooting footage for GapGuru in order to edit together some videos to promote some of their projects on their website and on presentation DVDs.
Previously GapGuru had not used video as a means of promoting themselves, a media that some of their main competition had already embraced. As a consequence, GapGuru were at a disadvantage to their rivals and were also missing out on potential promotion.
As well as film, edit and produce 10 original videos I also created for GapGuru a YouTube channel to which I upoaded all of the finished media. This enables GapGuru to place the videos on their website as well as promote the organisation on YouTube itself.
